Who We Are
Our Story
We are two Brothers by the name of Ahmed and Jay who love smoking good cigars, and even more than that, we love the great conversations we have with our Friends while smoking our favorite cigars. We are very passionate about the cigar industry, it’s history, how it has changed over time, and some cases remained the same by preserving some of it’s older techniques. We have been in the cigar business since 2007. Smokies is a Family owned, local business.
The cigar culture is very unique. When you walk into Smokies Cigar Lounge, you are always welcomed and greeted by our staff, as well as our patrons. It’s like saying, welcome to our home! We love to meet new people and convert them into good friends. Put aside your daily troubles, grab a good stick and get ready for a great conversation with your friends at our lounge.
We know how much work and passion goes behind the production of a good hand made and great tasting cigar. They say that from the moment a tobacco seed is planted to the time a cigar gets into the hand of a cigar enthusiast, it has touched about 200 hands. This is why we appreciate the art of cigar making so much.

The Lounge Story
Smokies Cigar Lounge is located in the beautiful city of Reading, Pennsylvania. We opened our doors in 2021 however, we have been in the retail sales of cigars since 2007. We have a 2 level cigar lounge with plenty of seating for everyone.
We have an extensive selection of imported and domestic hand rolled cigars. We have the largest selection of premium cigars in the area. Smokies also carries many cigar brands and accessories that are exclusive to our store. Most of the single cigar sticks at Smokies brick and mortar locations are always buy 5, get 1 free! The free stick must be of equal or lesser value. Some exclusions may apply. We also have a nice selection of imported pipes and pipe tobacco.
If you enjoy good coffee, espresso or cappuccino, we’ve got you covered! We have an espresso and cappuccino bar which uses the finest coffee and espresso beans imported from Italy. We also serve cold drinks along with many food options.
Yearly memberships are also available. Each membership provides the use of a humidified cigar locker which is lined with Spanish cedar for optimum humidification and freshness of your cigars for the best smoking experience. Our members also receive 2 premium cigars in their locker every month. Members also get 10% discount on all cigar purchases and 20% off all full cigar box purchases. Some exclusions may apply. BYOB fee is waived for all Smokies members. Please contact us for our current membership fees.
Non-members are welcome to use the lounge with a minimum cigar purchase of $20 per day. All non-members must pay a BYOB fee per bottle if alcohol is brought in.
